What is the consultation process?

Pre-consultation: You complete a short questionnaire and send your documents (resume, personal statement, cover letter, etc.) to guide our discussion. I will review your materials to get oriented.Consultation: We discuss your background, goals and needs, the scope of your project, the services I provide, and sketch out a plan.Post-consultation: You receive a personalized proposal that includes recommendations, package and pricing options, and a timeline to completion.

What if I don't have a resume, personal statement, etc.?

That is completely fine! Many times projects start from scratch. I will gather much of the information I need before and during the initial consultation and will collaborate with you every step of the way.

Why is there a  $65 consultation fee?

Good question! Ahead of our one-on-one consultation, I review your materials to gain an understanding of your needs, including taking time to research when necessary, formulating questions, and preparing for a productive discussion. During our conversation, I will learn more about your unique situation, and this will be the foundation for the materials I prepare for you. The fee allows me to invest time and resources to create custom materials that are true to you.The non-refundable consultation fee is credited toward the overall engagement fee.
